It is sometimes difficult to say no to other people. Saying yes all the time is not always good because there are times when no is the reality. You say yes if it is for the more important goals. Saying yes is good if you have plenty of time in your hands. If you are a nice person, you sometimes say yes to everyone without realizing that you will not be able to complete everything on time, especially the more important projects. Always saying yes to people will derail your goals. Make sure to focus on your goals so you will know when to say yes and when to say no.
You can become a trusted person if you learn to listen to others. Listen without distraction. Or, you can gain trust by building up your coworkers.
